1. Overview
MyDot is committed to providing a safe and respectful social environment for all users. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any content, behavior, or activity involving child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, grooming, or harm to minors.
This Child Safety Standards & CSAM Prevention Policy explains how MyDot prohibits, detects, reviews, reports, and takes action against child sexual abuse material and child sexual abuse or exploitation-related behavior.
2. Zero-Tolerance Policy
MyDot does not tolerate Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), grooming, sexualization of minors, or any attempt to exploit, endanger, or harm children.
Any account found to be involved in such activity may be immediately suspended, restricted, or permanently removed. Where appropriate, MyDot may also preserve relevant information and report the matter to competent legal authorities.
3. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following content and behavior are strictly prohibited on MyDot:
- Any image, video, text, link, or file that depicts, promotes, facilitates, requests, distributes, or normalizes child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Any attempt to solicit, request, share, or trade sexual content involving minors.
- Grooming behavior, including attempts to build trust with minors for sexual, exploitative, manipulative, or harmful purposes.
- Sexual conversations, sexual requests, or inappropriate contact directed toward minors.
- Content that encourages, coordinates, or facilitates exploitation, trafficking, coercion, or abuse of children.
- Impersonation, deceptive behavior, or manipulation intended to contact or exploit minors.
- Any external link or redirection to platforms, groups, or websites that host, promote, or facilitate CSAM or CSAE-related activity.
4. User Reporting Mechanisms
MyDot provides in-app reporting tools that allow users to report suspicious, harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content and behavior.
Users can report:
- Posts
- Comments
- User profiles
- Messages or suspicious interactions, where available
- Impersonation or harmful behavior
- Any content or activity that may involve child safety concerns
Reports can be submitted through the available Report option inside MyDot, such as the report action on posts, profiles, or other user-generated content areas.
Child safety-related reports are treated as high-priority reports and are reviewed as quickly as possible.
5. Moderation and Review
MyDot uses a combination of platform rules, user reporting, internal review processes, and moderation actions to identify and respond to prohibited content and behavior.
Our moderation approach may include:
- Reviewing user reports related to child safety, abuse, exploitation, grooming, or harmful behavior.
- Restricting or removing content that violates MyDot policies.
- Suspending, restricting, or permanently removing accounts involved in serious violations.
- Reviewing suspicious patterns or repeated reports.
- Taking additional safety measures where a user, minor, or community member may be at risk.
MyDot may also use automated or technical safeguards where available to help detect policy violations, abuse signals, spam, harmful behavior, or suspicious activity.
6. Enforcement Actions
If MyDot identifies content or behavior that violates this policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Remove the violating content.
- Limit visibility or distribution of the content.
- Restrict account features.
- Temporarily suspend the account.
- Permanently disable or remove the account.
- Preserve relevant information for safety, investigation, compliance, or legal purposes.
- Report serious cases to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.
Severe child safety violations may result in immediate and permanent account removal.
7. Cooperation with Legal Authorities
MyDot complies with applicable laws and regulations related to child safety, online abuse, and illegal content.
When we become aware of content or activity that may involve child sexual abuse material, exploitation of minors, grooming, or immediate risk of harm, we may report the matter to relevant law enforcement, regulatory, or child protection authorities, where required or appropriate.
Depending on the nature and location of the case, this may include cooperation with competent local or international authorities.
8. Prevention and User Safety
MyDot is committed to reducing risks related to child exploitation and harmful user behavior by:
- Maintaining clear community rules against child abuse and exploitation.
- Providing accessible reporting tools inside the app.
- Reviewing high-risk reports with priority.
- Taking enforcement action against violating accounts.
- Improving safety processes as the platform grows.
- Educating users through policies, guidelines, and support channels.
